One of my favorite things to do as a photographer is work with other creative professionals. I had the pleasure of working with two local musicians in the last year, doing headshots, studio sessions, and, of course, their album covers!! I can't tell you how rewarding it is to see my photos donning these amazing albums!
Christina Christian is a southern Americana artist who has been playing along the Gulf Coast for the last five years. She also plays with local favorite, the Ole River String Band. As Perdido Key Local says, "Christina makes music that hits you right between the eyes." She is a girl after my own heart, chasing her dreams wherever they might take her. I was so honored to be able to take some photos for her, and even more honored when she chose to use them for her new album! To keep up with where Christina will be next, be sure to check out her Facebook page, or click here to check out her new album, Silent Sea.
Ken Lambert, or as I know him, "Daddy," is without a doubt my favorite musician of all time. He has been playing music my entire life, and then some. This newest album, "Growing Old Gratefully," is an ode to all that made him who he is today. A beautiful compilation of his favorite hyms and old-time gospel songs, it includes favorites like "I'll Fly Away" and "In the Garden." I'm so excited that I got to spend time with him during the production of this special album, and so honored that my photos are a part of it as well! Big thanks to Anthony and Savana Crawford of Admiral Bean Studio (and Sugarcane Jane) for their work on the production as well! To keep up with where Ken is going next, be sure to follow his Facebook page. To order this or any of his past albums, check out the Son Shine Ministries store.
