After another incredible year of Fall Mini Sessions, I'm excited to share some top highlights from 2023 Fall Minis. I was joined by many sweet couples and kids this year, and it's always a joy to see how returning families have grown and changed since the last time I photographed them.
You may recognize this picturesque location, Oscar Johnson Park in Silverhill, from my guide to the Top 10 South Alabama Fall Family Photo Spots. This is one of my favorite places to shoot during the fall because the covered bridge and changing leaves look straight from a Hallmark movie. These are a selection of my favorite snapshots from 2023 Fall Minis!
Powell Family
Not only have I photographed Lizzi and Lakin's engagement session and wedding, but now I'm getting to capture some special moments as they prepare to welcome a new member to the family! Lizzi and her son, Jack, joined me earlier in the year for Motherhood Minis, and it was wild to see how much he's grown in the months since. I always have a lot of fun taking photos of the Powell family, and I can't wait to meet their latest addition soon.
Farlow Family
The Farlow family joined me for a 2023 Fall Mini Session and served major looks with coordinating plaid for the guys and signature fall colors for the ladies. This family knows how to have fun, and they were naturals in front of the camera as I guided them through some family photo poses.
Leflore Family
I'm obsessed with how the Leflore family's 2023 Fall Mini Session turned out! This adorable family was picture-perfect, dressed in a complementary color palette of blues and greens. The Leflore kids are incredibly sweet and hilarious, so I had a blast photographing their fun-loving family.
Duckworth Family
I couldn't resist highlighting some photos of the Duckworth family! The Duckworth crew joined me for Spring Minis at the beginning of the year, and I was blown away by how much bigger their girls are just a few short months later! From capturing moments of sweet sisterly love to a few one-on-one shots of Mom and Dad, the Duckworth family was a pleasure to photograph.
