I've been doing a lot of reflection as 2023 comes to an end, and I want to share some of my favorite family, wedding, and baby photo highlights from the past 12 months. It's been an incredible year, and I can't wait to see what 2024 has in store. I wish I could share ALL of the sessions I photographed in 2023 because each was so uniquely special—but if I did that, we'd be here quite a while! Instead, I'll share a few standout moments and a 2023 recap of how many families, couples, and babies I got to photograph throughout the year.
53 Family Sessions
That's right—I photographed over 50 Family Sessions in 2023! From intimate Motherhood Minis to large Family Beach Sessions, I had so much fun documenting all these special memories for loved ones. 2023 reunited me with some old friends and gave me opportunities to make new ones, and I can't wait to see how everyone changes and grows in 2024.
7 Maternity Sessions
There's something so sweet about a maternity photoshoot, and each one I photographed in 2023 was truly one-of-a-kind. Capturing a family's excitement as they prepare to welcome a new addition never gets old!
17 Newborn and Baby Sessions
Photographing newborns and babies comes with its own set of challenges, but it's always incredibly rewarding. I'm a bit biased, but capturing the birth of my niece was undoubtedly my favorite baby moment of 2023. She's growing into such a beautiful little girl, and I'll never forget the experience of watching her come into the world!
15 Portrait Sessions
From soon-to-be high school and college graduates to business professionals, I photographed 15 amazing Portrait Sessions throughout 2023. Seniors are always fun to work with because they're so excited to enter the next chapter of life, and I had a blast capturing business photos and headshots for pros who are passionate about what they do.
7 Couple Sessions
Don't you just love love? My 2023 Couple Sessions took me to incredible places like Tennessee, California, and Arizona. It's such a joy to capture the love shared between two people, whether they've been dating for a few months or married for years.
3 Engagements
By the end of 2023, I'll have photographed three Engagement Sessions, each filled with the best, most positive vibes. Documenting the moment a couple becomes fiances is so fun and exciting! I'm eternally grateful to every couple who trusts me to capture these memories.
7 Weddings
They say your wedding is the happiest day of your life, and I definitely found that to be true for the seven beautiful couples I documented tying the knot. I photographed everything from a surprise beach newlywed session to a destination Jamaica wedding and captured many special moments along the way.
