Fall might not be in full swing yet, but to celebrate the changing of the seasons, I'm sharing my 2022 Fall Family Adventure Session with the Clarks.
Since my Family Adventure Sessions include several location and outfit changes, we started off in the Clarks' family home. I love photographing families in their "natural habitat," so to speak because it gives photos a sense of authenticity and intimacy that's hard to replicate. The kids showed me their rooms and some of their favorite things—each of them plays a different instrument, so I even got to hear a little bit of their musical talent! I captured some romantic shots of Mom and Dad having some one-on-one time in the kitchen, and then we all reconvened for some family fun in the living room and a pillow fight in Mom and Dad's room.
Next, we headed outdoors to the Clark family farm, a gorgeous piece of property with cats, dogs, and chickens. Oh my! It was such a joy to create new memories with the Clarks in a place that means so much to their family. Mom and Dad have done an amazing job raising their beautiful children, and the love they all share for each other is so genuine and sweet. I was also SO impressed by the fact that Amber, aka Mom, had a broken leg throughout the session but still managed to look fierce and totally effortless. Of course, it helped that Dad was around to carry her as needed, too.
