Matt + Lacey | Bella Sera Gardens Winter Wedding | Loxley, AL Wedding Photographer

Calling all winter brides - this one is for you! Lacey and Matt were married in a beautiful December wedding at the exquisite Bella Sera Gardens, and the whole day provided perfect winter wedding inspo. Bella Sera Gardens is one of my favorite local wedding venues, and I love how Lacey and Matt incorporated all the wintery vibes throughout their big day.

The day began with a little bit of stress as the weather called for rain all day long. Amazingly, it didn't rain a single drop at the gardens during the wedding (even though it did rain at my house which was literally five minutes away)! After all the excitement surrounding the weather, it was time for the bride and groom to get ready. Lacey was absolutely stunning in her David's Bridal lace and tulle gown. I also loved the fact that her gown had sleeves - it was a super unique touch and so perfect for a December wedding! Her bridal look was complete with hair by Ashley from Trendz Hair Salon and makeup by Beautiful Buzz Beauty Bar.

One of my favorite things about Lacey and Matt's wedding was that Lacey's sister, Shae, actually prepared the florals and the cake for wedding! She did an amazing job and I thought it was so sweet that she was willing to do so much for her sister's special day. Shae's husband and daughter also served as Flower Man and Flower Girl which is one of the most adorable things I've ever seen. Can we also take a moment to acknowledge how gorgeous the bridesmaid dresses were? I loved the rich jewel tones that felt festive but still upscale and subdued.

After a beautiful outdoor ceremony, the reception began and the partying was in full swing. I have to give a huge shoutout to Gulf Coast Sounds for saving the day at the last minute because the original DJ had a family emergency. DJ Shane did an amazing job on such short notice and everyone had a blast dancing their hearts out! I had so much fun documenting Lacey and Matt's special day, and I'm so thankful they allowed me to be a part of their celebration. Happy anniversary to these two lovebirds!
