Rhys Arlo | Harry Potter Newborn Session | Alabama Newborn Photographer

Harry Potter newborn session | Alabama newborn photographer

I thought it wasn't possible for baby pictures to get any cuter until I photographed Rhys Arlo's Harry Potter Newborn Session.

Sarah and Roger recently welcomed Rhys to the family and reached out about shooting some newborn photos. I had the pleasure of photographing the happy couple on their wedding day, so I was already looking forward to meeting their adorable bundle of joy. Then Sarah and Roger mentioned they're HUGE Potterheads... cue even more excitement!

Sarah and Roger decided to have Rhys's newborn session in their house, which I'm a big fan of. Not only is it sweet to capture memories of a baby's first home, but it makes everyone more comfortable and laid back. I photographed a combination of pictures using my favorite newborn poses, candid shots, and some staged photos incorporating the Harry Potter theme. Rhys may have turned into an angry mandrake by the end of the session (as seen in the last picture), but he was still the absolute cutest.

Thanks to Sarah and Roger for letting me get creative and have so much fun with this Harry Potter Newborn Session!
