Since I'm now booking 2024 Gulf Coast beach sessions, I'm sharing some of my favorite past shoots to inspire you! Today is all about the sweet Hyman family, whom I photographed in summer 2023. Pensacola Beach, Florida is one of my favorite Gulf Coast spots, so I was excited when Judy reached out for a family session.
I met Judy, her husband, and two of their daughters in Pensacola a little before sunset. We timed our session to capture warm golden hour shots and soft pink sunset hues. My beach sessions include a mixture of posed and candid photos with every family member, so I incorporated group shots and solo portraits of the Hyman family.
Photographing these four was a lovely way to spend a summer evening in Florida. We mostly had the beach to ourselves, so everyone felt comfortable playing around and laughing. I loved capturing the Hyman family's beautiful smiles, and you can tell they share a genuine love for each other.
