I'm excited to share Steph and Marty's Phoenix Adventure Couple Session from my September Arizona and Joshua Tree trip. This was an especially fun shoot for me because I usually photograph Steph and Marty in my neck of the woods when they travel to the Gulf Coast for family vacations. This time, I met them on their turf—the gorgeous Arizona desert!
Steph and Marty are one of the sweetest couples I've had the pleasure of working with, and they absolutely killed their Adventure Couple Session. We began at the trail for Piestawa Peak, a picture-perfect area of Phoenix with endless rugged charm. While we didn't tackle the hike itself, the scenery here was stunning, with the city skyline in the background.
As golden hour began to unfold, we made our way over to Apache Wash Trailhead, located just outside of Phoenix. Steph and Marty were brave enough to venture through the cactus-riddled landscape for me, and I'm SO glad they did—just look at those epic cacti! I can't begin to describe how jaw-dropping the sunset was over the Sonoran Desert. There's truly no better way to end the day than with a colorful desert sunset, especially when shared with friends.
